Sloe Gin

Stop

Ballad of John Henry

Personally, I think he is the best guitarist of my generation. It is really hard for me to think of a comparable talent (outside of Clapton).

He is really bluesy, but really really technically refined.

Love his music.

I hate these threads because I don't know shite about guitarists.

But I can talk about solid country gold and that's enough

Of my generation I'd say Bonamassa, Derek Trucks, and John Mayer would top my lists for best guitarist.

The first two are probably a little better at playing, Mayer better at writing songs (i'm not including the pop stuff).

Bonamassa is great, but in terms of flat out talent, my favorite guitarist of my generation would have to be Brad Paisley. I don't even like country, but the stuff that man plays is amazing. I love his tone, too...again, for country

Derek Trucks is a step ahead imo. Best slide guitarist since Duane Allman.
