Worth the drive to go to Pensacola and hit up Joe Patti's Seafood. That is, by far, the nicest seafood market I've ever seen on the gulf coast. If you are into food or just wanting something cool to have for dinner, it is a destination.

Check it Out

They may even ship to you.

If you end up in Destin, go to Destin Ice or Sexton's...both are on 98.

Stay far far away from Shuck-ems.

I was drawn in by their offer of a dozen types of Baked oysters. When my oysters came out on a plastic tray with the parmesan cheese melted on it, I was suspicious. So I looked into the kitchen and saw 10 microwaves, and that every baked or steam oyster was "nuked". Was like half raw and half warm. Horrible, and I let the manager know it Though didn't get comped. Screw that place.

Stinky's fish camp on 30a. They have appalachacola oysters which are quite good. The rest of there stuff is average. I think the placw has some connection to New Orleans. All the pictures are New Orleans or Louisiana related.
