Giant Crane by South Endzone?

Anyone know what they're doing there? Starting on construction? Or just replacing that ratty looking national championship sign on the opposite side of the south score board?

Wouldn't surprise me if they took the scoreboard down. I'm sure they have to be starting on the addition soon.

You don't assemble giant cranes (over 200T), to remove a scoreboard. That's for construction. Or both.

My post was in reference to the addition. The scoreboard will be removed at some point, just a matter of when.

Project for expansion begins Sept 1, inside of stadium in January after season. You will see tower and crawler cranes on South end zone throughout season....

My dad works for Bengal Crane and they have been doing a job in LSU. He sent me a pic one day, he was set up right beside the stadium, but I don't know if they are still in there
