their catalog is not large, but, in my opinion, their music is timeless...

Celestial (2000)
Oceanic (2002)
Panopticon (2004)
In the Absence of Truth (2006)
Wavering Radiant (2009)

I am going with Panopticon. For me this album is one of the best albums ever.

If I've never heard them, does that make me a loser?

In this order.
In the Absence of Truth
Panopticon
Oceanic
Wavering Radiant
Celestial

I've been searching for other bands like ISIS. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed that they called it quits.

The dude from High on Fire kind of has a similar scream. But the music is way more aggressive I'd say.

I don't mind the aggressiveness from time to time. But, I really enjoyed the long riffs that ISIS had in many songs. I've found other bands that do the same thing in someways

Oceanic is my favorite.

And Jbeam your right about Russian Circles and Caspian. Caspian is one of my favorite bands and they are amazing live. They are opening up some shows for Cursive and Minus the bear, but only up north. Thats a great line up imo
