Kid is 6'2 210 and runs a 4.43 40.Chavis has to be absolutely giddy over this kids ability to move around.

I know he was a LB in HS but what is going to play at LSU? Is he going to safety?

Versatlity might not be the best term, more like a complete LB. Should be able to play all LB spots, blitz, and cover; before he leaves LSU, or at least, the potential to do so IMO.

210lbs is pretty damn small for a LB in the SEC. He is a BEAST in his highlight films though. I have no clue how he was only a 3 star!

He's a LBer all the way.
The guy is going to lay the wood on some blitz packages.

I like in his highlights that he is very patient and THEN he explodes and just levels people....he never seems to overpursue which is rare for a young player with his speed. Patience and aggression is what we need in a LB. Even with his speed and hitting power 210lbs is tiny for an SEC LB....how do you stop a guy like Kenny Hillard with 210lb LBers?

How many Kenny Hilliards to you see walking around?

Also LSU has a not so secret weapon called Tommy Mofit

I think Tahj, our starter, may be smaller, but plays well. This kid plays with control, and speed, and I don't see his size being much of a problem.

Tahj Jones is essentially the same weight and is likely to start and/or play alot this Fall.

Unlike Tahj, I think it is likely that Debo will be putting on weight as do most players once they get into Moffit's program...

Ya I hope Moffit can get Kwon and Debo up to about 240lbs....we would be SICK for the next few years at LB. I know there aren't a lot of guys like Hilliard but 210lbs is just too small to play LB in the SEC. We have the best pass rushers in the business which will help our young corners but this year we need some beef at LB to stop the run.

He's already put on about 10 lbs (came in around 200) since fall camp started. I expect by his soph/junior year, he'll play around 225 and be an absolute monster.

I think he is barely even 200lbs which scares me. We need some 265lb LBers like Donta Hightower.

He will easily gain 20 lbs over the next three years. If he is here for four years I would put the over under n his weight at 235.

I am hoping at least 215 by the time the season starts, 225 next year and 240 junior year....if he can get there and keep his speed I highly doubt we will have him back for his senior year.

In Chavis' scheme these hybrid type guys flourish.

Not sure if serious. Only some of our DEs play at 265. 265 at LB in the 4-3 is too large especially in Cheifs system
