Best BBQ in Memphis?

Me and my buddy are cruising up to Memphis from Oxford today, looking for some good BBQ. I'm a pulled pork kind of guy, where should we go?

Central and bbq shop are my favs. I believe bbq shop is closed on sundays though.

Where is the BBQ shop at? I know how to get to Central and the Commissary even though I have not been to Memphis in 12 years. But whenever I make it back up there, I plan on going on a 3 day BBQ binge, and I saw this place mentioned several in this thread

on madison in mid-town. My personal favorite (although I prefer Rendezvous for ribs)

I love pulled pork and Interstate is not it. I stopped there last time I drove through memphis on Sunday because my first choice was closed. I was disappointed.

Central is my favorite, and it gets hate from some but I really liked Interstate as well

well, that's too bad. I go to central for their ribs anyway. BBQ shop has the best pulled pork. central has the best ribs.

Sorry to hear it, I prefer BBQ shop MUCH more, but most people I know (and the online reviews apparently) like Central for some reason

It wasn't like it was bad, the meat was just pretty dry and bland, I guess my expectations were just a little too high. I will definitely try BBQ Shop next go-round

BBQ nachos were awesome, but they still weren't as good as the ones served inside of Vaught Hemingway though
