Lol. Well deangelo was a nice offer but I really need to shore up my secondary. My starting FS is a 73 overall and undersized. Since everyone likes to throw in this league I am trying to make sure I have good coverage back there. I signed Devin McCourty and Rasheen Mathis so that was a nice start.

I only released Dreesen because I had too many tight ends and he was a cap casualty/trying to get Hernandez.
Willis McGahee for Hernandez is a solid trade. I'll throw in a low draft pick if you want.

Tech releasing players ALWAYS causes a cap penalty. There is noway to keep up with that cap penalty.
Just like someone just released a FB that was taking up cap there would have been a penalty for that thus not actually freeing up the cap.
