I just finished watching the first episode on Netflix and I must admit, it's one hell of a show. The makeup designs are legendary and the gore is unbelievable. Hopefully , they can carry the epicness from episode 1 into the rest of the season.

You're one of the few people that probably like this show on this board. We've tried starting threads before, but they usually don't take off real well. For some reason this show just never really caught on

I've heard that as the season progresses, the show becomes repetitive and begins to carry on like your usual zombie flick. But I guess I'll have to see that for myself.

IMO season 2 is very slow and boring and I quit watching, but season 1 is pretty good.

The pilot episode of TWD is awesome, and I liked the whole first season.
IMO the first half of the second season was pretty slow, but it got better toward the end. And I'm fully on board for season 3.
They are doing an amazing job with the special effects and general production values. The characters and storylines could use some improvement but I think the show has the potential to be an epic series.

Season 1 is amazing..but short.
Season 2's first half is less than stellar.. if you don't have the patience you're going to hate it..but its major plot development in the first half.
The second half is awesome, IMO..and the finale kicked arse.

The series falls flat after the first episode. I wouldn't waste any more time on it.

Met the writer, Robert Kirkman, and artist, Tony Moore of the comic book at Comic Con International this year and Robert is hilarious.
Saw the series first and then heard about the comic. So, I bought the first compendium which covers the first 48 issues and am about through the whole thing. The 2nd one comes out in October.

Shane alone makes season 2 worth watching. He crushed it that season.
