Congrats to the Jays!
The Gibbs kid that signed with LSU threw 10 innings in the game 1 win. He's the same kid that threw 16 during the prep season. Any idea how many innings he's thrown this year?

I think he's going to Tulane. The kid that pitches for Rummel is going to LSU.

Gibbs is going to Tulane.
Seward, RHP from Rummel, is headed to LSU.
And yes, Latino seems to have no care in the world for the kid's arm. Borderline criminal, imo.
Not surprised this team is doing well. They're loaded with kids who are sophomores in college feasting on 15/16 year old pitching.
That being said, go Blue Jays

Got back yesterday afternoon. After that long arse drive, never want to drive an automobile again.

Didn't realize you drove. Thought you flew.

Why doesn't Jesuit play in Perfect Game tournaments? Much tougher competition. Maybe I just answered my question.

What teams in Louisiana play in Perfect Game tournaments? I only knew about American Legion.

bc everyone plays Legion in NOLA
they or Rummel or Brother Martin get to win "state" and treat it the same as HS baseball when there's only 35 Legion teams in the whole state

Lol, rummel won the national tournament in 2005 or 06

Jesuit down to Final Four! Playing at 1 pm (noon our time) if rain holds out.
quote:
SHELBY -- Tournament officials are hoping for a break in the weather today, as they try to finish the annual American Legion World Series on schedule Tuesday.
Rain affected the schedule over the weekend, causing officials to shorten two games Sunday to seven innings instead of the usual nine. Forecasters are holding out hope, saying only a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday afternoon and evening.
Three games are on the Monday schedule, when the field will be cut to two finalists. The World Series, featuring eight Regional champions from around the country, began Friday. Shelby has been host to the American Legion World Series for five years, and rain had an impact on the schedule in 2008 and last year.
Today’s games at Keeter Stadium are: 1 p.m. -- New Orleans (40-6) vs. Brooklawn, N.J. (58-3). Winners’ bracket final. 5 p.m. -- Omaha (51-10) vs. loser of 1 p.m. game. Loser eliminated. 8:30 p.m. -- Bellevue, Wash. (38-15) vs. winner of 1 p.m. game. Bellevue eliminated with loss.
Four teams were eliminated in games over the weekend -- Florence, S.C.; Lakewood, Calif.; Milford, Conn.; and Moline, Ill. Subscribe to The Charlotte Observer.
