Huge thanks to Bass Pro

I have been wanting to buy a high quality rifle for the last year or two, but I haven't been able to find the deal that made me feel like I stole it. Well, I finally found that deal yesterday.
My wife had an all female gathering last night, so I decided to make a run to Bass Pro with my 12 year old. I knew they were having a sale, but I didn't know that I was going on the perfect sale day. I ended up buying a Remington 700 CDL SF. It has the stainless steel and fluted barrel. It has the walnut stock and X-mark pro trigger. The gun retails for $979. With tax, that is $1,077, but I got it on sale for $747 including tax. That is $330 off and over 30% off. Needless to say, I am happier than a pig in slop. It is the most balanced gun I have ever held.
I can't wait for the rain to stop so that I can shoot it and sight it in. Thank you Remington for the instant discount and thank you Bass Pro for the huge savings.

The $100 discount was last night only. I think the rest can still be had until Sunday. They are now giving rain checks.
I don't work at Bass Pro. I own Alford's landscaping and lawn in Denham Springs, but after saving that much money I was stoked. All of my money goes to my sons motorcycle racing and daughters cheer competition. I seldom buy things for myself and wasn't planning to buy this gun last night but I couldn't pass it up.
It took about 2 1/2 hours to complete so be prepared to wait.
