Ray Ratto of SF ranked LSU #10 in his AP poll. He's getting a quick email from me.

His top 10 is:
1. bama
2. OU
3. USC
4. Florida St
5. Oregon
6. Georgia
7. Texas
8. Wisconsin
9. Arkansas
10. LSU

His email is:
ratto@knbr.com

Check out this dude- LOL

So you don't have to know anything to vote, good to know.

LSU went 4-0 regular season against those teams.

Just disgusting, but it's his opinion.

WE ought to challenge him to get his fat arse in a LSU jersey after LSU wins the BCS.

I'm sure he'll change his vote when confronted with belligerent fans. That always endears voters to a fan base.

I haven't seen any of these teams play this season so I don't know if his rankings are good or bad.

Ray Ratto is the sports writer for the SF Chronicle. I used to read him all. The time when I lived in the Bay Area. Before you get too worked up, dude knows nothing about CFB, he writes about the Giants and 49ers. He probably put all the names in a hat and drew them out.

For those of you who say it's just his opinion , consider this:

Say you ask sportswriters to rank teams and 60 rank Team A from 1-3 and one a-hole ranks Team A at 10th.So he is either woefully ignorant or completely biased.Either way......

Last year he voted LSU #1 preseason - all season.

He obviously needs to see the all important but now unknown QB play before moving them up.

So why the hell does he have a vote? Shouldn't the SF Chronicle give that vote to whoever they have on the Cal and/or Stanford beats?

Am I the only one here that isn't 12 years old? It sure feels that way sometimes.

I can understand how a new QB can be a huge question mark.. however LSU has had the absolute worst QB situation in a long time and still pumped out an undefeated regular season..
