Flying into MSY tonight, any recommendations for a decent sit down place with good po boys, shrimp creole, or other casual new orleans fare. Looking for something more than just fried seafood between the airport and the causeway. TIA.

Creole Grill went downhill after Mr. Ed sold it IMO.

When is the last time you visited? Fitzmorris has been giving it glowing reviews and I got a great report from a good friend who went recently.

It has been over a year since I visited, so maybe I'm out of the loop.

Always.

I've learned to sort through alot of his horseshite and pickout what I still think he is sincere about.
The menu and review from their eat club looked good this past week.

Oh well.

Restaurant Cypress for higher end and Acme for lower end in that type of food category might work.

Drago's is solid. World deli has great po boys and won't have a huge crowd (at least not usually).
