Mate, I can't support this thread. Shanle tries his best, plays through injuries, and gives everything he has to this side and its supportors.
If the Saints can't find a better LB to replace him, that's on Loomis and Payton and Williams/Spagnulo.
Ridiculous and ignorant to hate on a guy who's working his arse off out there on the pitch for our favourite side.

I'm not hating on the guy. I know he tries hard. The poimt of the meme is that he's one of the luckiest linebackers in the NFL because he would have lost his job with about 31 other teams, that is if he managed to get one in the first place.

I have a love hate relationship with Shanle. He's just been on the team so long, it's hard to wish anything but good things for him. But he's still slow and white

people say it is because he is smart and has a high football iq, but that doesn't do anything when running backs are are out running you and shanle can't make the tackle or getting sucked into blocks and not being able to get off of them, always losing men in coverage etc.

He's the old brokedown Fred Thomas of linebackers (although Thomas was actually good for a few years before he got old and hurt) He's not that good, but they won't bring quality OLBers in to replace him. They bring in rookies or borderline starters who don't work out. Not his fault.
