Gotta go to Pinkie Master's (in my avatar image). Great dive bar.

For food, I've only been a few times since it is so close to Charleston. I'd recommend Elizabeth on 37th, Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, Local 11 Ten, Pink House.

There is a Thai restaurant in midtown called the King and I. Nothing to look at, but some of the best Thai I have had.

Admittedly, not exactly Savannah type fare.

Another one though is Toucan. Can't miss.

Toucan Cafe

You won't be disappointed. The specials are very good.

If you don't mind a line and family style dining, this place is fabulous...

The food at TL&S's is good, but it's not worth the hassle of standing in line to get a time to come back for your reservation to stand in line again.

The Crab Shack on Tybee Island

This...get the low country boil platter and sit outside with some cold beer. Platter is table sized and delicious, and it's a good time had by all...My favorite meal in a week of good meals, maybe not the BEST food, but def the best time.

Also ate at a place off River street called Planter's Tavern that was pretty good, and some place that was pirate themed that was maybe the oldest running restaurant or something? Decent food, cool little place...

Savannah is a great place, if you get a chance to do a ghost tour/ pub crawl, they are a blast. Herse tour was pretty fun too, but it may have been the amount of alcohol was had imbibed
Hard to go wrong on food, there are plenty of good eats...and some very interesting things to do to go along with it.

Olde Pink House, Mrs. Wilks Dining room are probably the best I've been to. That said, I usually go to the Chart House or Churchills's because they're in stumbling distance of my room. Just left there Monday but the only meal I had was at Sam Sneads restaurant by the airport. It's better than Ruby Tuesdays.
