Hi, y'all. Just saying hello, I haven't been on in a while. No new book, we've crackpotted the old ones to death and we're between GOT seasons, so not much to throw out there.

On the Aemon knowing about Jon, I'm torn on that one. For reasons stated already, I don't believe that he knew who Jon's father was, but there were clues that he suspected he was a Targaryen.

Maybe he's not. Maybe he's just Ned's bastard. I hope so. Would make the story better. imo

Definitely disagree. Reading the Tower of Joy, it makes no sense that there isn't a baby that all parties know is in that tower.

R+L=J is basically canon at this point.

Not written in any of the books I've read. Probable conjecture? yes. Fact yet? no. He could be dead for all we know.

Which is why she said "basically" and not "definitely".

Or course it hasn't been confirmed but given all the clues dropped it'd be a reach for it to not be.

The ToJ sequence is Ned's fever dream after his confrontation with Jaime and the Lannister armsmen in the first book. Some of the best writing of the series and jam packed with hints and inferences to all manner of things.

Its just a Ned chapter in the first book but its probably the most important chapter in the series.

Yeah I have read that twice. I guess you could assume that Ned found his nephew and took him home as his own. Its not much to go on though. I thought you were referring to another book or something.

You have to look into his fever dreams while he's in the red keep dungeons as well. Also Rhaegar saying there must be one more in Danys vision while he was holding Aegon. It's pretty much throughout the story. If Jon doesn't end up being Targ, I'll forever believe he changed it due to fans figuring too much out.

For everyone in Louisiana, the only theaters showing GoT in IMAX so far are the AMCs in BR and Harvey (Westbank), and the Grand Slidell.

So, 4th child on the way (it's a good thing)

My wife likes Lyanna if it's a girl.

My only hesitation, we don't know everything about Lyanna. What if she turns out to bit a bit of a slut?

Really, that's my hesitation with any ASOIAF-inspired names. Many stories simply aren't complete.

Yeah, I already saw it .

Guess I'll have to make a trek to the Wank to watch it in IMAX .

Have you not been posting on TD long enough to know that all women are sluts?

Just saw an article on that. Here's the one I came across: Game of Thrones special article

The article you posted seems more thorough. But the the the first picture in this one kind of caught my attention. Is that a White Walker?
