At this point though it seems there's going to be major deviations from the books. So I'm ok with continuing to watch. I didn't read the books until after I started watching the show anyway and it didn't ruin anything for me. It actually just enhanced it.

I watch season one then read book 1 season 2 then books 2,3,4 and 5

Well, considering how long I've been reading this series, waiting for books, and how much I thought AFFC and especially ADWD absolutely sucked, I kind of like the TV series more than the books at this point, so I'll watch. And read.

I tend to agree. I think it'll be interesting to see how the show shakes things up in S5.
