Yeah, he's a weird man. I wouldn't say that he hates his fans, but he doesn't seem that grateful to us either for making his series successful. And he has these 'rules' about when he will and won't talk to fans; I.e. He won't talk to fans in public yet he will at conventions.

The less Dany we see this season, the better. Seriously. The majority of this season should take place at King's Landing and The Wall.
Iluv also ships Dany/Jon....which, knowing Martin, no way that happens.
. But it could also be because we know that Jon would never go for her considering she's potentially his aunt.

I saw the news posted on the Westeros site this morning, so it's likely that this is true 
.
But it's really not surprising that they cast Bloodraven; all of Bran's ASoS story ended last season so they're definitely going to use Bran's ADWD story next season.
