All the Hodors were whining about how Tyrion's story was so boring in season 3...which really, it wasn't bad. I could have done without Podrick being a lady's man (er...whore's man?), that was utterly pointless except for a few laughs. And, Tyrion's marriage to Sansa is very important and I think it still has a role to play in book 6 since they're still technically married.

If the writers don't frick up Jon's story any more and actually give him the screen time he deserves and dialogue/character building, then his arc will be awesome this season. And I think they need to put Dany's story on the back burner this season. The King's Landing and Wall storylines need to be at the forefront.

I think Jorah will be banished early on and then they're going to head into ADWD material which is going to be yawn-worthy unless the writers can think of some things to make it more interesting. And yes, I know Dany is a fan favorite amongst the Hodors....but really, in all seriousness, she should only be in about 6 episodes this season. No need for her to fricking hog screentime not doing shite when there is so much stuff going on in Westeros. Writers need to do more with building up the Mountain than showing Dany whine and fricking Daario.

There are women on the show who could easily compare with Emilia Clarke in looks.

In their defense, Tyrion's story from this season compared to the past 2 was kind of weak. Aside from the wedding, Tyrion didn't really do much. It was really his interactions with Tywin that made it interesting.

I absolutely loved his interactions with Tywin...I'm reallllllly looking forward to the Jaime Tywin interactions next season. That was so fun to read in ASoS.

My boyfriend has said that Marg is his favorite and he'd pick her over Dany.

So, I forgot about this part in AFFC, but this quote stuck out to me.

quote:

That night he dreamt that he was back in the Great Sept of Baelor, still standing vigil over his father's corpse. The sept was still and dark, until a women emerged from the shadows and walked slowing to the beir. "Sister?" he said.

But it was not Cersei. She was all in grey, a silent sister. A hood and veil concealed her features, but he could see the candles burning in the green pools of her eyes. "Sister," he said, "what would you have of me?" His last word echoed up and down the sept, memememememememememememe.

"I am not your sister, Jaime." She raised a pale soft hand and pushed her hood back. "Have you forgotten me?"

Can I forget someone I never knew? The words caught in his throat. He did know her, but it had been so long...

"Will you forget your own lord father too? I wonder if you ever knew him, truly." Her eyes were green, her hair spun gold. He could not tell how old she was. Fifteen, he thought, or fifty. She climbed the steps to stand above the beir. "He could never abide being laughed at. That was the thing he hated most."

"Who are you?" He had to hear her say it.

"The question is, who are you?"

"This is a dream."

"Is it?" She smiled sadly. "Count your hands, child."

One. One hand, clasped tight around the sword hilt. Only one. "In my dreams I always have two hands." He raised his right armand stared uncomprehending at the ugliness of his stump.

"We all dream of the things we cannot have. Tywin dreamed that his son would be a great knight, that his daughter would be a queen. He dreamed they would be so strong and brave and beautiful that no one would ever laugh at them."

"I am a knight," he told her, "and Cersei is a queen."

A tear rolled down her cheek
. The woman raised her hood again and turned her back on him. Jaime called after her, but already she was moving away, her skirt whispering lullabies as it brushed across the floor. Don't leave me, he wanted to call, but of course she'd left him long ago.

Evidence of Tywin not being Jaime's or Cersei's father?

No IMO. I think the tear was more for this:

quote:

He dreamed they would be so strong and brave and beautiful that no one would ever laugh at them

She was disappointed in what her children had become. Then again, I hate the Aery's is the Lannister twins father theory almost as much as Walder Frey.

I'm not a fan of the "at least 1 or more of Tywin's kids are Aerys'" theory either.

Worse theory ever. If Tyrion was Aery's, Tywin would have killed him a long time ago.

Agree...I think most people who approve of the "Tyrion is a secret Targ" theory is because they want to see him become a dragonrider.

That's the last thing I want. If anything I'd like to just see him taking control of the Sons and become the lead strategist for Dany.

I'm really on the fence with Jaime and Cersei being Targs, but completely against Tyrion being a Targ. Jaime and Cersei validates some things that have happened over the series. It validates the blindness of Tywin to his children, how Jaime is accursed in the eyes of men for not only being a kingslayer but unknowingly a kinslayer, Cersei being attracted to Rhaegar, Cersei's obsession with torture and wildfyre, as well as her madness.

Being descended from Aerys would only progress the two characters, although I think Cersei would only find out about it from Jaime himself seconds before he kills her. Jaime would be of course horrified, but also see it as a chance for redemption. Cersei would probably realize that she has become her true father.

Tyrion offers none of this. All it does is let Tyrion off the hook for murdering his father, and he would likely be relieved, since Tyrion is still 3rd in line for Casterly Rock after Cersei and Devan. It is really a frick you to Tyrion's character, and especially Tyrion's and Tywin's relationship.

I also believe it could explain Cersei's crazy tendencies as well.

Also explains why they liked to bang each other. Tyrion as a targ would truly piss me off, especially after hearing his aunt say that tyrion was is his father's son.
