A dragon is killed and turned into a wight dragon. This happened before during the Long Night, the event that spawned the Others and Azor Ahai. Old Nan mentions it.

When the reference the stone dragons at dragonstone, are there actual stone statues of dragons somewhere in/under the castle or are we just guessing that they are somewhere beneath it?
