in the trailer, they show dany with her back to big flames over a wall

how gay would it be if her wiping out the slavers is off screen due to budget? it's like it's just screaming and fire

I will go on a kitten killing rampage....

You'll hear about me on the news, they'll be saying something like "I get he was pissed but damn, did he have to cut them up in THAT many pieces?".

That'd be ridiculous since GoT is going to continue to be a huge money maker for HBO for at least 6 more years.

That would be a travesty. Brienne is such a horrible character.

Eh. Her POVs are not great compared to others but she's a pretty big part of his arc. If nothing else he's going out doing something incredibly noble and selfless.

Rome, which was a wildly popular HBO series, was cut short due to budget. If you watch some of the intro videos to this season they also mention that they chose to spend the most of their money on locations vs. other stuff (i.e. CGI, etc). I wouldn't be shocked by it.

I wouldn't be surprised either. Most of that occurs offscreen during the books as well. As long as they have the full scene where she "buys" the unsullied and tells them to destroy the masters, and the dragons melt at least one masters' face I'll be happy.

Knew about Rome, but I just don't see it for GoT. I bet their subscriptions have a big spike every March for the show and the Blu-rays are probably at least top 10 in sales the past two years. Everyone is completely hooked on the show, and knowing where the story goes, it's only going to get more popular.

If they cancel it, I'll never give HBO another cent.

I do wish they would have shown Tywin learning that Arya had disappeared from KL. You know he would have kicked himself.

He may figure it out regardless, since he's just arriving in King's Landing and wasn't informed of her escape. He knew that she could read and was likely highborn, so I can see Tywin figuring it out that he had Arya right under his nose. Granted he may have killed Littlefinger for it.

I think Tommen dies when Cersei tries to poison Margaery. Jamie then goes after Cersei.

I like that. Maybe also have it in combination with Cersei being the cause of Brienne's death.

Cersei slowly becoming more and more deranged/psychotic and less and less calculating/effective has been very pleasurable.

She is set up to be her own doom.

You're right that she's a big part of Jaime's redemption I just hate her.

I don't think they cancel it but given the scale of what they're covering I don't think it'd be a stretch that some scenes get left out/modified due to budget constraints.

I really hope they do Jaime's dream sequence where he's in the dungeons of Casterly Rock. One of my favorite scenes in the novels.
