Here's a question about the TV series: How do you think they'll react to Varys not being present for 2 seasons, since he's not really present for two of the books aside from the last scene.
Here's what I think they should do: Have Varys escort Tyrion to Essos, and introduce him to Illyrio, then have them go to Connington and Aegon. After the whorehouse incident when Tyrion gets captured, have him remain with Aegon in going back across to Westeros. Don't speak of him for two episodes remaining in the series, and then he can just appear in King's Landing to murder Kevan Lannister. Anyone else think that's the way they should go?

Sounds good to me.
Speaking of the TV show I wished that they waited until this season to have Stannis make Davos his hand. That was such a great moment in the book when Davos thought he might be killed then was raised to be Stannis' hand of the king.

My only problem with that is you won't be able to assume he is pulling a bunch of strings beind the scenes in KL during all this time.

He could still be doing it from a distance though through his "little birds".

I think you will see some special clips during the show that aren't necessarily present in the books, but he indicates they take place all the same so it shouldn't alter anything. Speaking of differences in the show and books has anyone else been bothered that the vision of Rhaegar playing his harp was left out last season? Or Them leaving out the line of the prophecy that states her womb never quickening again? I haven't re-read any of the books since Dance of Dragons but I recall that being a really big deal and it seems like the show is crawfishing on it a little. Probably Germans but I just discovered this section of the board.
