The kid would/could get his degree. This shouldn't be overlooked. Football isnt everything. He needs a backup plan.

Also having him return for his Senior season would be HUGE being that Simon and Reid are both as good as gone after this year.

To TM7 leading our Tigers to their second consecutive MNC

Really? The guy has only been a back up till now. Yes he made some plays last year but lets see how he does as a full time starter before we say he's gone.

Thanks for the enlightenment and the NC is not mythical.

a degree?
Even if he slips in the draft, he will make money money than any degree he could possibily attain. If I was him, I would go to McNeese and focus on getting his life together and improving his game. These are the only two things he needs to work on to improve his draft status.

Am I missing something? Didn't Simon play considerable minutes last year?

Sounds like staying at lsu, studying and keeping his grades up while maintaining a low profile away from football might be a really good solution.

Then comes back for 2013 to compete and finish his education at the school he loves with his friends.

Do you think he has played enough to go 1st round?

Maybe tyrann stays at lsu and convinces Simon and Reid to stay their senior seasons

No, but that's not a requirement for leaving early.

And what happens after his 10 years are up in the league. You think he's gonna live off the millions he has saved?

I know it's not but if you're not going to go in the 1st round then why would you leave early?

No way Reid stays. He'll probably be the first safety in the entire country taken in the draft.

I'm sure tyrann and his family are thinking long term.

Lsu has to be part of that equation
