He has lost any ability to play the position.
He was looking to be one of their best receivers, and the team is very unhappy about the way this was handled. Just because he wasn't good at NE doesn't mean he wasn't going to do well in Miami.

He got cut because Philbin wanted to be a hardass and im not sure he wanted him there in the first place and was looking for a way out. Im thinking that was an owner move
