Hearing rumors on twitter. But not bad of a move IMO hes fast
I saw a post that he retweeted saying that he's not practicing with offense anymore and is on defense now

That's what the rumors yesterday suggested.

I like it better than Paul Turner moving. He's going to redshirt anyway if the injury bug hits then he'll be out there. If not he can go back to WR.

Interesting move. I like having our faster players on the defensive side of the ball, anyway.

Yes. And he's gonna be a hell of a corner.

I was never sold on him as a wr anyway, his film was pretty meh

Kid has "football speed". And we know how swapping a player from WR to CB had worked out for LSU so far

Did he play some corner at BB?

I saw him practice at corner once. He's real physical. Good move IMO

6'1 180, I like his size and speed at cb. It'll take him a couple of seasons to learn the position, though

Nah. Probably one season with Raymond and he should be good to go.

Did he play on the defensive side of the ball any in high school?

Doubtful

A lot of the best CB's played WR in high school anyhow, I'm not too worried about it.

Corey Webster, Mo claiborne, Tharold Simon. Not to mention guys like diarse, white, brazil, jefferson all could play both ways. So with holmes speed and size, he could def be a corner.

Did not even think about this but seems like a hell of a good move. His Breaux Bridge teammate Dural is a better WR than him and will continue to be in college, and Holmes has great CB size, speed, and ball skills.

I was excited to see Holmes' speed at WR but if he can learn how to play CB, with his speed, he'll be a damn good CB

If true, that may make this the fastest group of incoming dbs ever at lsu
