Russell Shepard or Odell Beckman at Returning punts

Who would you rather. I won't give up on Russell Shepard. I'm waiting for his high school highlights to translate into LSU football.

Shep's hands =/= punt returner...he can return kickoffs

Hate to bring it up, but mathieu made great decisions back there..and great hands. When they would kick away from him and hed take it on a hop and get 10 yards. That's a positive 25 net yards

That's why I would put Shep on kickoffs. He'll have more
time to haul in the ball as opposed to punts where
someone can be in your face within 3 to 4 seconds

TM7 will be missed for sure. Landry had one return for 31 yards last year. He might work out better, never know
