Simon, Mills, Collins, Thomas and Raymond. Crazy how the deepest position before spring is now the weakest. No injuries please.

I think that's about right. Looking at last years roster to this one, we lost 7 DBs. Claiborne, Taylor and Brooks go the draft. Jenkins, Vinson and Gibson tranquil transferred. And nowTyrann. But, we still have a lot of quality players back there. Time to show the world just how deep DBU goes.

We'll be fine back there this year. Simon will be a lock down on one side so you put the young safety on his side and bracket Reid over the young CB. However, LB play becomes a much more significant issue now.

Wasn't Raymond a receiver before he switched to DB? Maybe he can turn a receiver into a DB the same way.

Not to mention this all opens up spots for what looks to be one of the sickest DB classes ever at LSU.

5 corners remain, and 3 are true freshmen.

It stinks losing Mathieu for obvious reasons, but if he played receiver or running back it would have been a non-issue.

Can anyone give me a good reason of why Vinson and Jenkins left the team? Those transfers are really hurting right now.

I don't know if it is the weakest, but least experienced. There are definitely depth concerns now, and I hope we can make it through the season with no injuries.

We are grotesquely thin and inexperienced at CB, now. Mo, TM, Brooks, Vinson, Jenkins have all departed. It's going to be very challenging to consistently defend against the pass.
