On the Skinemax rotation right now. Probably a top 20 movie for me, I've always loved it. Story, cast, soundtrack...all badass.

just realized that Jay Baruchel plays the Zeppelin super fan...

A lot of famous people in the background...Jimmy Fallon, Rainn Wilson, Mitch Hedberg, Anna Paquin.

Pretty sure I start thus thread once a year...

One of my absolute favs. I love when Kate Hudson is dancing in the empty hall on napkins to Cat Stevens. Just some beautifully coordinated scenes with classic rock throughout. And what's great is Crowe draws from his own experiences as a young Stones writer and gives it a little edge of authenticity to it.

You should. It's as inside 70s rock baseball as you'll ever get with Crowe's story. Hudson may never be as perfect in a role. And yeah lots of cool cameos, PSH is a ninja as usual.

Great movie. Great characters, unbelievable soundtrack. Life was so....simple in the 70s. I'm an uber music dork and would have been one of those nerds at the house party. I fell in love with Penny Lane, still looking for that beautiful broken girl to fix even though I'm married.
