My son and his friends don't have tickets to games. He wants to know how he can get the games on TV in HD. I know if the game is on abc, nbc, cbs, fox, he can get it through rabbit ears. For other games, Instead of dragging out the directv hd dish, tripod etc, is there a way to get the games in HD from a computer to a tv? Seems like it would be much easier.
thx

ETA: I'm eating popcorn in observation of the answers...I'm curious. I don't think it can be done, unless you buy ESPN3 or something and use a VGA to your TV...We've always drug the dish out

That would only work if you could get reliable high speed internet to your tailgate. If you could somehow do that you might have a few options. Satellite is the best and easiest option. Anything else going to be a pain to setup and unreliable.

Agreed. My buddy's dad has one of those ATT wireless cards for his computer, but I'm not sure how reliable/fast that internet connection is.

Even if you do get the internet at a speed fast enough, ESPN3 will likely be blacked out in BR anyway. You'd probably have to use justin or something.
