all the crab nets you'll ever need are at Academy. Cheap too.

I'm just lazy and don't feel like driving to Gus's in Slidell or Pierre Part Store. Hope to find closer.

I don't know about dipped crab nets but Spillway Sportsman has the heavy duty ones that last forever.

Bass pro or cabelas has the wire ones. Academy has the rope ones. All three have crab traps.

Some Walmarts sell the cheap ones around $2 each.

Don't know about Baton Rouge, but if you drive down LA 1 to Mathews you can fine some good hand made dipped nets at Adams Fruit Market. It is on the bayou side as you are driving down the bayou. Have stainless steel rings and includes a clip ring for the bait, a stopper for the string attached to the net and a rope and float. Once you get these nets, all you need is the bait. Call them @ 985-532-3165.

I got mine from B&B hardware in Larose. They are bigger than the ones from Adams but are harder to pull up. My next set will be from Adams.
