Did anyone see the interview this morning with the two Americans who medaled in that race? The silver medalist spent her whole time whining about how she didn't get any coverage and she had a sob story blah blah blah. Then, the interviewer kept stirring up ill feelings and at the end the bronze medalist basically says she's happy that Lolo didn't get a medal. It was pretty shocking. I've never seen teammates do that to another teammate before. It really felt as if they were happy that Pearson, the Aussie, got the gold instead of Lolo. Really made them look extremely petty, regardless of what you think of Lolo and whether she is a self-promoter etc. I mean this is what these two have to talk about after getting medals at the Olympics?

I tell you what I think. I think Lolo Jones is going to spend the next decade doing sideline work for ESPN or someone and these women are going to be coaching middle school track.

I hear you. It was just surprising to see this the day after they won medals against a teammate, especially after the heartbreak Lolo had in Beijing four years ago.
