Barely inside ESPN top 10 doesn't seem right, but whatever
Look at our talent this year on the field...it is what it is....very solid- pretty much 2nd to no one!

They finally got rid of the *not rated* by giving those guys 3-stars. Just watching a few mins of film is enough to know if someone is 2-star or 3-star.

Okay so explain to me why Texas is ahead of us. They have 10 4*s and 4 3*s compared to our 12 4*s and 10 3*s. One would think we should have more points and a higher ranking, right?

This is just proof that the rankings don't work yet. 247 is trying to get creative and come up with a system that works. Looks like they just still need to keep working...makes you wonder how they released that though. Seems like they would have looked at the results with some common sense and realized that the formula is not right yet. Filled up with the dumbass for caring about this shite...me included.

So would most on here say that 247 has strong talent assessment of individual players, but the nerd who decides on the algorithym for team rankings should be canned?

Eh, it's more like 247 trying to not show any bias by taking into account other recruiting services that show bias in their formula. Pretty ironic.
