why would we even want this guy? It really makes no sense to me. Athletic skill is abundant - we need a quick thinking academic QB.

shyrone carey was barely literate when he left shaw and had to sit out 2 years before becoming eligible. i can tell you firsthand the guy worked his arse off to get qualified and get himself back up to standards and he ended up graduating early from lsu.

all im saying is that sometimes these high schools frick these kids and going to a juco where he will just get embarrassed might not be the best option. sit out, dont waste eligibility and get a tutor to help you through it. nate livings, shyrone carey, and chad lavalais might all agree.
