Used to drink whole when I was a kid, but I slowly got myself to skim. When I drank Whole, skim tasted like water. Now whole tastes like cream.

I love milk. Drink a big glass every night, but the way I made the switch was to put my glass of skim in the freezer and get it ice cold with a nice layer of frozen milk on top and around the insides. Tastes great to me, now. It has to be ice cold though, but I always liked my milk ice cold. My Dad used to put our milk and OJ in the freezer before we drank it. In the mornings, he'd deliver it to us all in bed when he woke us up for school.

I'm thinking of switching to 2%. I preferred whole when I lived with my parents, but when I moved out, I kinda stopped drinking milk very often. Because of that, whole never tastes cold enough anymore. I'm thinking a thinner 2% in a frozen glass will make me happy now.

2% is the way to go, especially if you don't want to turn out like the average Louisiana Lady.

2% 3 weeks out the month

whole 1 week

too much hole milk causes my migraines to go insane but I prefer the thickness

I've learned how to control with the above method. usually the whole milk is in the middle of the month

whole.

i grew up on a dairy farm. we got it straight from the tank. all it did was run through a "sock". it was like a cotton filter. non-homogenized and non-pasteurized.

best stuff on earth.

I use almond milk also. But if I have some sweets, I love a huge glass of milk. Usually skim or 1%

To drink? None of it. Milk is a nasty beverage.

Cooking with it, nothing less than whole. If I use it, it's because I want the milk fats so it's nothing less than whole and is usually half and half or heavy cream.

Unless there's pancakes or fried chicken involved. Then, it's buttermilk.

Up until I went to college, we had a Jersey that we would use for our milk.

On average, I believe their milk is 4.57% milk fat or so. That shite is kind of gross over cereal because it was not homogenized so it had clumps of milk fat floating on top. You'd have to stir the pitcher up before you pour it.

Nothing like putting your head under a cow and squeezing a teat straight in your mouth.
