Listening to the announcers last night, they said 15 or so NFL teams were scouting the game to pick up help for their own teams and mentioned the RBs.

Banyard, Joe RB 5-11 213 23 R
Cadet , Travaris RB 6-1 210 23 R
Ingram, Mark RB 5-9 215 22 2
Ivory, Chris RB 6-0 222 24 3
Sproles, Darren RB 5-6 190 29 8
Thomas, Pierre RB 5-11 215 27 6

I cannot see letting Cadet go but do we have room for him? Banyard wont make it.

Ivory gets released. Cadet on PS

PT, Ingram, and Sproles are a legit three headed monster of terror, death, mayhem, destruction, etc

If Ivory doesn't get his shite together before the end of preseason, he is gone and Cadet stays.

PT, Sproles and Ingram are locks.
I thinks it's to early to tell on Cadet, but if the coaching staff likes him, Ivory may become trade bait.

If Ivory doesn't make it through the preseason healthy and Cadet does, how can you cut Cadet? However I watch to see both of them running behind 1st team o-line. Ivory was getting hit in the backfield a lot.

How many tailbacks do they carry.

Cadet does not look like he will have to settle on a practice squad.

Ivory will be practice squad. Thomas, Ingram, and sproles are the three.

Not nearly as poorly as this board would have you believe. He was behind second string line for awhile who were god awful. Ivory actually had the best cut of the night but it only got him about 4 yards. Dude was delivering damage all night. People need to chill from 1 extra preseason game.

And in no way shape or form will ivory be on the practice squad

He wasn't getting the best blocking, but he wasn't doing well when he got decent blocking either. His best play was a dump off pass.

Ivory will soften up the middle, just like he always does. He trucked that LB one play. I mean absolutely trucked him

Cadet & Ivory had a rough go running the ball last night.

Cadet made some plays catching the ball but we already have PT & Sproles who can do that really well.

It is still too early too tell. The back ups on the O-line didn't have a good night blocking in the run game. You have to cut Ivory & Cadet some slack here in my opinion. Still four more preseason games left

Damn, you guys are some reactionary idiots.

One freaking preseason game against scrubs and you want to keep Cadet over Ivory who had over 700 yards two years ago against legit NFL talent?

Insane. Cadet caught a few passes against scrubs. He looks like he has some talent but to even consider cutting Ivory for him at this point is asinine.

Umm, for all of those criticizing Ivory's production, did you notice Cadet, playing behind the same line had negative yardage rushing?

Silly. It's like you guys can't remember 5 minutes ago.

Maybe we should cut Bunkley for Walker since Bunkley got zero sacks. Or maybe Higgins should be starting in front of Graham because he's looked good in practice and Graham went catchless. Insanity to act like a few easy catches and runs would even begin to threaten Ivory, who has been compared to a young Marion Barber/Stephen Jackson type.

Ivory's had better preseason games than Cadet, which is of little significance, but the dude has several 100 yard games under his belt. This really is one of the more insane series of posts I've seen in a while.

Cadet was playing against the same players Ivory was. He performed better.

First Ivory is a Beast and he has the same vision that PT has in the hole and can break it at any time and won't get stopped from behind,he has break away speed that PT doesn't have and I take nothing away from PT because I Love him on our team...they are both very good backs but Ivory doesn't get the credit he deserves and is a proven player,Cadet has a lot to prove before anyone makes the case for him,he has a lot of football to play....

No. I'm sorry, but just no. I love Ivory. I really do, but PT has two things going for him: balance and field vision.

Yeah, in ONE meaningless preseason game. He wasn't really that impressive. It's like you guys that get all hard for some stupid kickoff/punt return in preseason.

Did you really think Cadet running with no one around him was more impressive than the 100 yard games and bull dozing runs Ivory has compiled in his career?

Lester is right. Simple decision.

Pierre
Sproles
Ingram
Ivory.

Cadet to the PS and if someone else takes him. Oh well. He's a nice player so far but not special. Ivory is a unique talent with power and speed.

I mean Joique Bell was our most impressive back last preseason and I don't remember this much idiocy about keeping him over the other backs.
