Let me first start by saying I have never bow hunted in my life, and i skipped the bow, and went straight to the crossbow world. Last month, I purchased a low end Horten Brotherhood crossbow that was marked down to $199 (Regular $349)at the local Wal-Marks and looking for advice on bolts and broad heads. The bow shoots 20" bolts. I have heard about Rage broad heads from a friend that shoots a bow. Are those worth anything? and can they be used on a crossbow?

When you shoot a deer with a rage, you dont even need to clean them. It will gutem, hide em out, and cut the steaks out of the hind quarters for you. So ive heard.

a lot of people like to make fun of rage broad heads, but they really are great. I shoot a 2 blade and couldn't be happier with them.

Damn son, poolaris and rage...your shite must be fricking up on you all the time

I don't like mechanicals, I just have an aversion to moving parts. Even though they work well there's the potential there for something to fail and them not deploy. I shoot one piece fixed blades FTW. NAP hellrazors

I am kinda liking this. I noticed those Rage heads are mechanical and that doesn't sit well with me either. What is the best place to buy these heads and what brand of bolts do you suggest? It shoots 20inch.

NAP Hellrazors are super sturdy and dangerously sharp. Sharpness is one of the biggest advantages to this blade. People over looks this extremely vital detail in picking broadheads.

You can get them anywhere. BPS. COM

I got them because they fared real well in that broadhead comparison somebody linked in a thread on here last year sometime. I think they were the sharpest out the box and they were towards the top of the pack in every test he did with them...jack of all trades master of none sort of thing. Only disadvantage for me is you can't replace the blades, and my blade sharpening skills suck.
