Was supposed to just miss the 1st day of practice for a funeral but it seems like he got that excuse from Luther Davis. All this idiot had to do was go through the motions for 5 months and he could go pro but looks like he's taking the Bryce Brown path.

Kid should've gone to USC so he could've gotten the right coaching. All the talent in the world, and he wants to be a lazy arse at a program that's about to be hammered with sanctions. Shame.

I'm not a fan of the hype, but I don't blame "the hype". Plenty of kids have tons of hype, come in, and perform. If a kid doesn't perform, it is likely because they are lazy or have other intrensic issues. Why didn't the "hype" frick Adrian Peterson up? Or Matt Barkley?

The same could be said for First overall draft picks. I dont blame them being selected No 1, but when a guy has lazy tendencies and now is labeled the "Number 1 recruit in the country", it likely wont end well. Just like having lazy tendencies and being the number 1 draft pick arent a good combination.

You guys seemed to make a huge deal of this and I thought it didn't seem that big. He was what, a day late to practice? Life happens

Three days late and avoiding contact with coaches after being "significantly late" for the start of summer school.

I mean he was approved to go to this funeral so that could easily have taken 2 full days. I'm not making excuses for the kid cause I could care less but he could legit have been 3 days for a funeral if it was a close friend
