I said it was obviously not a violent form of protest.

I'm sure it won't cost the business a dime to fix.
You are assuming a gay person did this.

And again, I'm FOR gay marriage, moron. I don't disagree on this issue with you at all. I disagree with your stupid stance that the leftists and their gay mafia have the right to vandalize businesses in retaliation.

quote:

Agreed. Dr. King was strongly influenced by Gandhi's idea of non-violent protests. He knew that if the civil rights marchers did anything violent, the movement would never gain traction among the general populace. But to simply allow oneself to be arrested without resistance would gain respect at the least and more support at the most. That's why Rosa Parks remains an honored figure in the movement.

Yea since graffiti is so violent and gay people cause so much of a ruckus? I bet you anything this was not even done by a gay person.

That was the post that prompted you to say "Frick you for promoting vandalism"

You are not nearly as civil, rational, or intelligent as you think you are if that is your normal way of responding to a statement like that.

All of this nonstop Chick Fil A talk had me craving one. Unfortunately we don't have any near me so I had to settle for this...

I was disapopinted that the breast wasn't plump and juicy at all (like in the picture). In actuality the bun dominated the sandwich (I gave most of the bread to my pooch anyway).

if your gut tells you what they are doing is by choice for the attention, to be rebellious or because they have some inner-masochism they are trying to appease, then you will fell irritation and disgust for their cause.

Christians are not called to be irritated and disgusted by their neighbors. They are called to love their neighbors. Gives the entire Christian, anti-gay movement an aura of hypocrisy.

You forgot the rest of the quote. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. In other words, act in his best interests just as you would act in your own.

Christians are also called, in the very same sermon on the mount, to be salt and light in the world.

Exactly. I was talking about the Constitution recently with a man in his late 20's. I asked him this question: From whom does the Bill of Rights protect US citizens? He could not answer the question. He honestly did not know.

the loudest members of any group are rarely the best representation of the whole. many christians revel in their misguided self-righteousness, as are many gay activists

Irritation and disgust are still excluded by the full quote.

Chick Fil-a as an organization takes a pretty hard stance against gays. That is what I disagree with.

As a corporation they donate millions every year to anti gay activist groups.

LINK

I could link you to about a thousand Facebook quotes or tweets of people who attended that eat out or what ever ya wanna call it simply because they believe that the company and president opposes gay marriage just like they do.
