Tonys

I really can't find much to sub salt with. Tonys is appropriate in some situations such as boiled/scrambled eggs

Potassium Chloride, the whole thing that wraps itself in no salt is the sodium content. Sodium is a necessary part of the human diet as it is a component of the neural pathways. It is just considered "bad" as we consume to much of it.

mccormick's makes three different "perfect pinch" products that are sodium free, and pretty good actually .. give one of those a try ..

A mixture of herbs and veggies. there is now a buttload of different versions where it used to be one only. That dog needs a home where his skills would be appreciated.

My last dog needed about two minutes at the pound to say "GET ME THE frick OUT OF HERE", he was at the gas chambers door, he was actually jumping about six feet into the air. He later that day learned that the cuisine was not made by Purina. He got leftovers of duck, ribeyes, porterhouse, and a host of other bits and pieces. He suffered through it all. He had a distinct liking for steamed asparugus.

Another vote for Mrs. Dash. It's not exactly the same as salt, but is a good flavoring agent.

You can always experiment with other spices as a substitute for salt...cumin, basil, oregano, cayenne pepper, ect.

This may not be a huge help because I don't know the brand, but my wife found something recently. It's salt...tastes like salt...but has something like half of the sodium of normal salt. I use it now and can't tell the difference, but sorry that I've never really paid attention to the details. I did a quick google search for low sodium salt and got a bunch of different products.

If you need to cut out salt for something like high blood pressure then go with Mrs. Dash. If you just want to reduce your salt intake, then look at a combination of Mrs. Dash type products and low sodium salt products.
