beckett is one of the most overrated "big name" starting pitchers ever.

Let's say that the Cubs come back to the Dempster deal, do the Braves still offer Delgado?

Not a chance, IMO.
Braves know they most likely aren't going to re-sign Dempster now, so can't see them giving up Delgado.
Plus, with no movement on the Dodgers end, I'm sure the Dodgers would have done everything to convince Dempster to go to the Braves by now if the trade was still on the table.

Well he's started 3 World Series games and given up a total of 3 runs in those 23.1 innings.
