Hound dog observations

After hunting for hogs the past couple months with a few different kinds here is my very limited observations.
Bluetick- have a hell of a nose. Will literally blow the cobwebs out of a track. Only knock I have seen is on the bay they dont want to get too close. They kind of stand back let the other dogs engage.
Walker- pretty good nose. Extremely fast they seem to be the first ones in. A little better than the blueticks they will engage a bayed hog.
Plott hound- good nose. They are one step behind the walker when it comes to quiknesss. Absolute terror for a hog at bay. They are ruthless and don't care what part they get a hold of.
Cur-only hunted with 2 but they don't seem to have the nose of the rest. Seem to have moderate speed but they make up for all that at the bay. Where the plotts hit and let go when they grab they don't let go.
I am kind of bored and these are just some things I have noticed. Anybody have the same or different opinions?

What kind of cur are you running? From what I've seen the Ladners tend to have a little bit better nose, but the Howards are the better catch dog. My son had a gyp that was a cross of the two and she was something special.

Not sure what they were a friend brought them down and threw them in with the others. They are headed to apalachicola forest to tree some bears. My son is going so maybe I can tell you more later. It's just going to be the 2 cur and about 6 plott dogs but it ought to be a good time

Dang, I didn't know you could hunt bear in Florida. Can out of state hunters get a permit? We ought to be able to, those Florida folks are as thick as fleas during deer season!

They don't kill just tree and pull dogs off. Gets the dogs ready for the georgia kill season though.

I had a dog that was half plot a few years ago. Had a great drive and definitely wasn't scared. I can see how they would make good pig dogs.
