SVP will make several Gameday appearances this coming season!

Lighten up, will ya? This is my first post about the guy. He's one of the better personalities associated with ESPN, so this is good news.

ETA: And yes, he is pro LSU, so we like that.

Maybe I just don't like GameDay in the first place.

The guy does get an inordinate amount of attention for being basically a talking head.

I don't get to watch much game day myself but I still like him being a part of it, he's one of the few big names there that really loves college football

No, not as opposed to anti-LSU. He talks up LSU all the time. You can tell he has a genuine like for the program, while a couple other ESPN talking heads seem to show more of a distaste of LSU. Don't you tend to like sports anchors that talk up Bama instead of criticize and put down Bama? Why is everyone's panties in a wad today?
