That was a great article. I had my questions on how NFL scouts would view TM7. This article brings some great perspective to the discussion. I agree with everything he says... I never realized he moved around that dam much in the secondary, and is as effective at one as any other.

3/4s through I thought of "Money Ball" ... players who don't fit the MLB mold, but just get on base.
He doesn't fit the NFL prototype, he just gets the ball back for you.

I like the article and agree with all but Mathieu's speed.
I think Mathieu takes terrific angles which makes him look like he has great speed. I would bet he runs in the mid 4.5's to 4.6. I don't think this will hurt his value as a nickle corner in the Pro's though.
Can't wait to see Mathieu blowing up ball carriers and creating mast hysteria for the opponent. Is it football season yet?
