Back in the 60's, a place we used to fish still had 1950's era Johnson Seahorses. Ran them alot

When I was a kid in the 70's we had a bass boat with an old early 1960's Evenrude, think it was 40 hp.

1958 Sea King 5hp. Still have it along the the owners manual and boat. Still runs like a champ, but I don't use it anymore. The boat, I use that on my pond.

I have an old Wizard that I'd like to get running. Need to get the serial numbers off it and find out what year it is.

Working on my great grandfather's 1971 9.5hp Johnson Seahorse. Had it running about a year ago but now the timing is off. Hoping to get it running before duck season.

what's on my boat right now

1984 model. It's a v-4 with a 25" v-6 lower unit. fricking thing won't die or else I would have a new 4 stroke by now. It was given to me when I bought my brand new 07 Kenner and trailer.

my first outboard was an old air cooled 3hp indian chief. it ran great and was faster than paddling!
then I got my hands on a 1957 water cooled twin cylinder 10hp wizard. the wizard made the old 10 foot skinny arse jonboat fly! people made fun of me warping the start rope on that ole wizard. I didn't care she started on the 2nd wrap AND WAS GOING every time.
