Does anyone know the accurate count on all turnovers TM7 has been a part of as a tiger? In an advocate article the list is:

quote:

In the last two seasons, he has accounted for 14 turnovers — eight fumbles recovered, two fumbles forced and four interceptions

I mean, I can count at least 4 forced fumbles this season off the top of my had: 1 vs WVU, scoop and score vs. Kentucky, and two in the AK game.

Anyone know what the accurate count is, or am I just going crazy?

11 forced fumbles, 4 Ints, 6 fumbles recovered

According to the ncaa stats page.

You can easily find how many fumbles he has forced and recovered, but LSU may not have recovered all of the forced fumbles so it didn't technically result in a turnover. I can also think of at least two pass deflections off the top of my head that do not show up in his totals but resulted in interceptions for someone else....Sheppard/Alabama Edwards/Ole Miss in 2010.

Don't know if special teams count or not but he forced the fumble against Oregon on the punt return and scored.

Forced fumble only counts if it's a turnover.

Not all forced fumbles end up as turnovers
AND
Some of his forced fumbles he recovered as well - still only goes down as 1 turnover for him
