Just wanted y'all to know that Monty is talking about the Hornets during the Summer league game in case any of y'all wanted to hear him talk about the team

Talked about his plans for xavier as the back up for aminu and that Xavier came into camp out of shape but has gotten in better shape in the past week.
Talked about how he didn't mind what Gordon said because money like that tends to get into your head. How him and Rivers can play the point but both are more shooting guards and that Grevis is a point guard.
How they plan on using different sets depending on what match ups are on the floor. Like how Ryan can play the 3 if he is up against a slower 3.
Talked about how Miller needs to improve on his shooting. How Jason Smith can play the five, but doesn't think that he can play it for extended minutes. How it is better to play on the safe side and get Rivers rest while he can though it isn't a major injury or anything.

No problem dude. One more thing. Was asked about veteran leadership and said how he was really sad when he heard about him leaving, and expected Jason and EG to pick up the leadership roles.

Exactly what I was thinking. I have some pretty high hopes for him comingoff the bench, it worries me to hear that he hasn't been taken this seriously enough to show up in shape.

he's definitely improving as the summer league wears on, though, so that's the good news. would have liked to see him come into camp and play the first game the way he's been playing, but he's going to continue to improve now that he's back to near where he should have been at the start of camp.

He was injured before the summer league and got over the injury 3 or 4 days before SL started.
