You are once again holding all potential suitors for your sorry *** hostage because you're now refusing to sign an extension with any team that acquires you.

I swear, he won't even commit now to the Lakers. My Magic will not get any tradeable assets for this pathetic waste of talent. Who is going to trade for him. Right now I'd give him up for Olajuwon's old jock strap and a decent coach.

I've never seen a player hold a franchise hostage like this. I thought LeBron was bad, nah this is exponentially worse what he is doing. Stern needs to wrangle these players in. It's absolutely ridiculous how the players are able to manipulate franchises like this.

L.A. has already said they will make the deal without any commitment. They know he would likely sign long term, it would cost him 20 mil otherwise. This trade gets done by end of the weekend IMO....but yes, Howard is a huge a-hole!

To be fair if he hasn't signed that opt-in/extension 4 months ago hed been a FA & this situation would already be resolved.

The longest Howard could sign an extension, according to ESPN Insider's Larry Coon, would be two years if he signed with Orlando and was traded, or three years if he signed after being traded.

If he waits until his current deal expires, Howard would be eligible to sign a new five-year deal for as much as $108 million.

Of course he isnt gonna sign an extension

Who will he sign with next year? Brooklyn won't have the cap room.

He's greedy is all it is and a drama queen. He makes these 17 yr old kids look like decisive decision makers.

He'll be a Houston Rocket. Magic will get a couple good young players, Kevin Martin, 2-3 1st rounders, 2 2nd rounders and get to shed 1-2 bad contracts.

No, he will not be a Houston Rocket.

Orlando wants to dump Hedo's contract. The Rockets can't/won't take on Hedo's contract to sign Howard for a year and then lose him. As desperate as Morrey is, not happening. forget about.

Houston would still have Scola if they weren't willing to take on those contracts.

You have 2 options. Deal with it. Or stop giving any of your time, attention, or money to professional sports.

Of course the Rockets would take on Hedo. Hedo is only going to get $6m next year, so its actually a better contract to take on than Richardson's or Big Baby's(3 years vs 2). A trade isn't going to happen till Asik's contract is resolved though.

Do you know how much money it costs to feed kids? Latrell Sprewell is asking.

Exactly, we've been complaining about how bad Hedo's contract is far so long that it's not really a bad contract anymore.
