Been looking around the internet to get a solid value on this pistol but the prices are all over. (500 -1800)

What is a good fair market value for this gun?
High Standard "The Victor" .22 Long Rifle
4.5" barrel
Marked "Military"
Adjustable sights
10 round clip

Looking to off load this gun and trying to get a good idea of the value. TIA

I'm not familiar with that gun at all. But I can tell you that the Browning Buckmark looks very similar to it.

Sure did. Small world.

I was thinking today that TD should have a classifieds board. Still need to be careful, but would certaintly trust ppl here over craigslist. Too bad we couldn't make a deal.

Edit- The ticket exchange is a mess; I guess that kind of baord is not worth the trouble.

High Standard actually made good handguns in their time. Can't help you that particular model.

Saw that they retail new for a little over $900. I spoke to a few dealers about their value retention and 85-90% seemed to be the consesus. Was winging it on the trade.

Not sure about that model but I would love to be able to find a High Standard Double Nine. Used to have two when I was younger. A used to be friend turned crack head sold them for me when I wasnt home.

My old man has a High Standard "Sentinel" 22 revolver that he got back in the 60's. Among the finest shooting 22 pistols I've ever fired.
