and before anyone tries to get smart. yes it was the rams pick but they'd still trade out of there.

altho they may not have gotten the return they did had barkley been in the class.

Oh, we're now pretending Leinert wasn't a huge prospect who was drafted 10th overall? Cool. I didn't get that memo.

No you fricking idiot, I am referring to the fact that SC never plays any high level competition. That is a huge reason why most PAC QBs flame out in the league, because once they get there (after being a typically high draft pick) they learn that their shitty little conference was pretty fricking bad and the level of competition in the league is ten times that.

Oh brother.

Yeah, the SEC is = NFL competition; all QBs should play there.

The league is 10 times better than all of CFB.

But you're right Pac 10/12 has historically shitty QBs in the NFL because they all played in a shitty conference.

Aaron Rodgers
Sanchez
Bledsoe
Moon
Palmer
Plunkett
Elway
Aikmen

Luck, Barkley - we shall see.

The Pac-10/12 is the conference of quarterbacks. Period.

Last decade the Pac 10 had by far the most quarterbacks on NFL rosters...and it wasn't close..15 QBs or so.

Honestly, That is an atrocious list..

Lol Sanche Bledso Moon ?

Aikman the most over rated qb of all time.

You even dug deep back and that's the best you got? Heck the SEC which isn't even known for it's QB's probably has a better list and even more current.

Barkley = the second coming of Leinart. Everything in college was easy. Once he has to work for shite, that little bitch will fold just like Leinart did.

I would love that so much.

Why is it that when a guy plays at the same position at a school he's going to end up like him in the NFL?

Tom Brady followed Brian Griese...I guess they should be the same

It's weak. Come on.

I know Aikman is a HOF, but still.

And Moon is alright. I prefer Cunningham, but hey he's a Mountain West boy and that's close.

Bledsoe is aight I only remember the back half of his career.. I see he was a 4x probowler and won a superbowl but that's about it. I only remember the statue Bledsoe.

I'm just saying I would expect a better list than this..

He's awesome.

Top of my head.

A Pac-10 quarterback has been selected in every draft since 1977 (except 1994, but three were selected in both the previous and following years).

Pac 10 QBs have made 18 starts as QB in the Super Bowl out of 46.

here's how i feel about barkley in this past draft..

the colts at number 1 were no doubt taking andruw luck.. but there was a slight chatter for them to consider rg3..

throw barkley into this mix and there would have been no consideration needed between luck or barkley.

i'm really not understanding why barkley would come out and specifically call out rg3's name like that.

That's the same reason Alexander the Great conquered the world.

I was kinda with you until this part. USC plays the opponents in their conference, which is a BCS level. Now 1/2 the teams in the PAC 12 are really shitty and have flashes once every 20 years of good teams. The other 1/2 cycle up and down regularly. I can't fault USC for all of their conference opponents not having a stable winning program.

USC's OOC isn't full of cupcakes either, they always have ND which is a glorified cupcake these days and usually 1 game against a BCS team and another against a west coast patsy.
