I don't think there has ever been an LSU football season that I have been more excited about. Last year I think we were a year ahead of most peoples expectations.

With that said, all I hear about LSU is how bad of an arse-whoopin' we took in the NCG.

How a team with, arguably, the best offensive line in the country, the best defensive line in the country, the best stable of running backs in the country, and the best defensive back-field in the country could fly below the radar I'll never know, but it sure seems they are being over-looked.

Maybe i'm looking at it through P&G glasses, but it sure seems odd to me.

They are #1 in a few preseason polls I've seen, so I'm not sure how that is below the radar. I remember last year, people were saying that team would be good, but the 2012 team would play for the title.

I suggest you look up what "below the radar" means.

I think you are. When most of the preseason polls have you either one or two, I don't think you are flying below radar.

Definitely not "below the radar", but I know where you're headed here, and can (kind of) see the point.....

This team is NOT below the radar. However, there are those in the media that will need to see CLM, I dunno, "refute" or "disprove" what the negatigers say, which is something along the lines of "show me why I should fear LSU after last year's NC game".

Last year, Coach Les Miles put together as impressive a regular season as anyone can remember lately. Period. Because I don't have the complete seasons of every game played in my head, I won't say "best ever", but seriously, LSU REPEATEDLY THRASHED some very good football teams. Their performance in the NC game was as abyssmal as their reg season was spectacular. The result of that is a poster's opinion that we're "flying below the radar"......

While we're not below the radar, THAT is how bad the NC game was.....bad enough such that everyone's still holding their breath to see if we're the team that dominated in reg season, or layed an egg in the NC game.

Can't hardly blame them really.

Burt, I cannot answer your question.

When the offense sputtered the way it did, and after two quarterbacks could not move the football, I would have at least tried him when we were down 15 or 18 - 0, as it was pretty obvious nothing was going to change with our current personnel pckg.

I don't know the answer to that question. I would like to know the answer to that question.
