I searched and nothing came up so...

Since we've got 5 amazing RB's, a huge O-line, WR's that can stretch the field, and finally a QB that can get it down field with accuracy what's the 1st play of the year gonna be?

Does LSU try to make a statement to the rest of the country(Bama) that were not afraid to throw it this year with a little play action bomb down the sideline or on a seam route or do we go Ford/Hillard/Ware off Tackle and say we dare you to stop us on the ground?

Also who get's into the endzone 1st?

Run first, Pass second. Miles formula for success. Go for the throat early and often when on 50 yard line in.

It's getting harder and harder to find decent topics on the forum during the off season. Please let the season start soon, boredom is getting the best of us.....

First play: HB dive
First to score: Ford

ETA: We should also keep in mind that we really don't know what we have under center. Not yet anyway.

Off tackle hand off to Ware- from the I, with a tight end. First to score- OBJ on a bomb from mett.

Well we may not have seen him in a lot of game action but if you've ever heard any interview with him, watched the spring game, or read any of the scouting reports on Mett they all say the same thing... He ain't scared and can throw the deep ball with accuracy... I'll go with that for now.

Didn't say this was gonna be the threat of the year but shite I'm trying to talk about soemthing to pass time.

Since it's North Texas it should be a bomb but since Les is the coach it will probably be an option play to the short side of the field preceded by a delay of game call.

Against a less than stout opponent, Les will not try to embarrass them with a trick play, or even a long pass. He may allow for a wr screen to get Mett grounded, but expect the RBs to dominate.

Ware scores first.
